BIDDY’S COATING CARE PLAN & LIMITED WARRANTY
Please read this document carefully before booking your appointment.
By booking an appointment with Biddy’s and allowing us to install a coating on your vehicle, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to read, understand, and agree to the terms, care requirements, limitations, exclusions, and warranty conditions contained in this Coating Care Plan and Limited Warranty.
It is the vehicle owner’s responsibility to understand the required care and maintenance of the coating after installation.
If you would like a printed copy of this warranty, you must notify Biddy’s before we arrive for your scheduled appointment, and a printed copy will be provided.
Biddy’s is the sole provider and administrator of this warranty.
SECTION 1 — COATING CARE PLAN
Proper maintenance is required to keep your coating performing properly and to maintain warranty eligibility.
Washing
Hand washing is recommended approximately every two weeks.
Use only a pH-balanced automotive soap.
Automatic car washes are considered safe for the Lifetime Coating because of the coating’s high chemical resistance; however, automatic washes are not recommended.
Automatic car washes may not completely clean your vehicle and may cause scratches, swirls, marring, or other physical damage regardless of whether the vehicle is coated.
Biddy’s is not responsible for damage caused by an automatic car wash.
Automatic car washes are only considered safe for the Lifetime Coating. They are not considered safe for Graphene or Ceramic Coatings.
Drying
Your vehicle must be completely dried after washing or becoming wet.
The recommended drying methods are:
-
A clean, quality microfiber drying towel
-
Forced air or an automotive blower
Do not allow the vehicle to air dry.
Tap water contains minerals that can remain on the surface after the water evaporates and may cause water spotting or mineral deposits.
Water spots may sometimes be removed using an appropriate water spot remover or a 50/50 vinegar-and-water solution.
Water spots and water-spot damage are not covered under this warranty, and Biddy’s is not responsible for repairing water-spot damage.
Washing Your Vehicle at Home
Coated surfaces are extremely slick, allowing many contaminants to release more easily during proper washing.
Minimizing unnecessary rubbing on the coating will help maintain its appearance and performance.
Never aggressively rub or wipe a dry coated surface with a dry towel.
Bird droppings, bugs, tree sap, and similar contaminants should be removed as soon as possible. Appropriate alcohol-based automotive cleaning products may be used when necessary, followed by gentle wiping with a damp, clean microfiber towel.
Only quality microfiber towels should be used on coated surfaces.
Avoid aggressive wiping or scrubbing. Allow the towel to absorb water rather than placing unnecessary pressure on the surface.
Required After-Wash Protection
After washing and completely drying the vehicle, an appropriate automotive detailing spray, coating sealant, or coating booster must be applied to help remove residual debris and maintain the coating in its best condition.
This maintenance is required to keep the coating performing at peak condition.
Failure to properly maintain the coating, including failure to use a sealant, booster, or appropriate detailing spray after washing and drying, may result in forfeiture of the warranty.
SECTION 2 — COATING WARRANTY PERIODS
The warranty period begins on the date the coating is installed.
Warranty coverage depends on the coating installed, the age of the vehicle, proper warranty registration, required maintenance, yearly inspections, and compliance with all terms contained within this warranty.
Lifetime Coating
The Lifetime Coating warranty remains in effect for as long as:
-
The individual who registered the warranty remains the registered owner of the vehicle;
-
All required maintenance is performed;
-
The required yearly inspection/refresh is completed;
-
All other requirements contained within this warranty are satisfied.
The Lifetime Warranty is non-transferable and ends when ownership of the vehicle changes.
The Lifetime Warranty is only available on qualifying newer vehicles.
Lifetime coverage applies only to vehicles meeting the applicable model-year requirements at the time of installation.
Vehicles that do not qualify for Lifetime Warranty coverage receive a three-year coating warranty from the original installation date.
Coating Application
Coatings are not reapplied every year.
The coating is installed once. The required annual inspection/refresh is intended to inspect, maintain, evaluate, and refresh the coating as necessary and does not mean the entire coating will automatically be reapplied annually.
Graphene Coating
Graphene Coating warranty coverage is limited to:
2 years from the original installation date.
Ceramic Coating
Ceramic Coating warranty coverage is limited to:
1 year from the original installation date.
SECTION 3 — WHAT THE WARRANTY COVERS
This warranty covers failure of the coating itself during the applicable warranty period, provided that all warranty requirements have been followed.
The warranty applies to the coating only.
It does not constitute a warranty against damage to the vehicle, paint, clear coat, trim, glass, wheels, or any other factory or aftermarket surface.
SECTION 4 — WHAT THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
This warranty does not cover damage or performance issues caused by circumstances outside of a failure of the coating itself.
Excluded conditions include, but are not limited to:
Physical Paint or Surface Damage
The warranty does not cover:
-
Scratches
-
Swirl marks
-
Rock chips
-
Bug damage
-
Bird-dropping damage
-
Tree-sap damage
-
Chemical fallout
-
Overspray
-
Sprays or chemicals
-
Residue
-
Debris attached to or embedded in the coating
-
Physical abrasion
-
Damage caused by washing equipment
-
Damage caused by improper washing or drying
Clear Coat or Paint Failure
This warranty does not cover:
-
Clear coat peeling
-
Clear coat failure
-
Paint fading
-
Paint oxidation
-
Existing paint defects
-
Failure of factory or aftermarket paint systems underneath the coating
A coating cannot repair or prevent failure of paint or clear coat that is already compromised.
Improper Maintenance
Damage or coating deterioration resulting from improper maintenance, lack of washing, improper products, improper washing techniques, improper drying, or failure to follow this Care Plan is not covered.
Water Spots
Water spotting and water-spot damage are specifically excluded from warranty coverage.
Vehicles must be properly dried after washing or becoming wet whenever possible.
Automatic Car Wash Damage
The Lifetime Coating is considered automatic-wash safe because of its chemical resistance.
However, scratches, swirls, marring, or other physical damage caused by automatic washing equipment are not covered.
Automatic car washes are not approved for Graphene or Ceramic Coatings.
Fire Damage
Damage caused by fire, excessive heat, or other similar external events is not covered.
User Error
Biddy’s does not warranty damage resulting from owner error, improper care, unauthorized products, improper polishing, improper buffing, improper chemicals, or failure to follow instructions provided by Biddy’s.
Unless specifically instructed by Biddy’s, do not buff or polish a coated vehicle.
SECTION 5 — REQUIRED YEARLY COATING INSPECTION / REFRESH
A yearly coating inspection and refresh is required to maintain warranty coverage.
The vehicle owner is responsible for contacting Biddy’s on or before the yearly anniversary date of the original coating installation to schedule the inspection/refresh appointment.
Biddy’s is not responsible for reminding the vehicle owner that the yearly inspection is due.
Failure to contact Biddy’s and complete the required yearly inspection/refresh within the required timeframe will result in forfeiture of the coating warranty.
The annual inspection does not mean that the entire coating will automatically be reapplied.
SECTION 6 — WARRANTY REMEDY
If all warranty requirements have been satisfied and Biddy’s determines that the coating itself has failed during the applicable warranty period, Biddy’s will reapply the affected coating as the warranty remedy.
The sole remedy provided under this warranty is reapplication of the coating when a qualifying coating failure is confirmed.
No refunds will be issued for a coating failure.
If a coating qualifies for warranty coverage, the remedy is:
REAPPLICATION OF THE COATING ONLY.
No cash refund, partial refund, reimbursement, or other monetary compensation will be provided in place of warranty reapplication.
SECTION 7 — VEHICLE ACCIDENT COVERAGE
If your vehicle is involved in an accident, your automobile insurance provider may cover the cost of replacing or reapplying the coating to repaired or replaced panels.
The vehicle owner should notify the insurance provider that the vehicle had a professionally installed coating before the accident.
If the insurance provider requires documentation, the insurance company may contact Biddy’s and we will provide available information regarding the coating and its reapplication cost.
Before accident-related coating work is performed, Biddy’s must receive full payment from the responsible insurance provider or other approved paying party.
No accident-related coating will be installed until payment arrangements have been completed.
Accident repairs are not considered a coating warranty claim.
SECTION 8 — NEW COATING PRECAUTIONS
The following precautions are especially important immediately after installation.
First 7 Days
Do not wash the vehicle for at least seven days after the coating is installed.
This applies even if the vehicle becomes dirty during the initial curing period.
Bird Droppings and Tree Sap
Bird droppings and tree sap should be removed within 12 hours whenever reasonably possible, especially during the initial curing period.
Allowing aggressive contaminants to remain on the vehicle may damage or stain the coating or underlying surface.
Damage caused by bird droppings, tree sap, chemicals, environmental contaminants, or failure to remove contamination is not considered a coating failure.
Installation Concerns
The vehicle owner has seven days from the original installation date to report concerns that may reasonably be related to the coating installation itself.
After the seven-day period, warranty coverage is limited to qualifying failure of the coating itself under the terms of this warranty.
Buffing and Polishing
Unless specifically directed by Biddy’s:
Do not buff, compound, or polish the coated vehicle.
Doing so may alter, damage, thin, or remove the coating and may void warranty coverage.
SECTION 9 — WARRANTY REGISTRATION
The vehicle owner must register the coating warranty within 30 days of the original application date.
Warranty registration must be completed through the warranty registration system provided on Biddy’s website.
Failure to register the warranty within 30 days of application voids any available coating warranty.
Warranty registration does not eliminate the requirement to follow the Care Plan, complete required annual inspections, properly maintain the vehicle, or comply with the other terms and conditions contained within this warranty.
IMPORTANT WARRANTY CONDITIONS
To maintain warranty coverage, the vehicle owner is responsible for:
-
Registering the warranty within 30 days of installation
-
Properly washing and maintaining the coated vehicle
-
Using appropriate pH-balanced automotive wash products
-
Completely drying the vehicle after washing
-
Using appropriate detailing spray, sealant, or coating booster as required
-
Avoiding improper buffing or polishing
-
Scheduling and completing the required yearly inspection/refresh
-
Reporting installation-related concerns within seven days
-

Failure to follow any required warranty condition may result in denial or forfeiture of warranty coverage.
